A whole lot of laughing. The way they shut down the serious stories whenever his backstory came up was riotous.

It was fantastic. I haven’t laughed at a movie like that in quite some time. It was everything I needed in a film.

It definitely had some funny moments. The cheese was extremely high for me, which is the crux of my lower scoring. I liked some of the references, it had a nice feel. I actually thought the little girl, and the dad, did a good job with the movie.

The daughter is the absolute worst character and actor of any existing movie. The only worthwhile character was the father, but the movie made a terrible decision playing his PTSD for humor. The over-the-top gore was a gimmick, and it tried too hard to be random. The ending was too belabored.

I laughed a lot. I liked the overall premise, that it was the destroyer of worlds, conqueror of galaxies, controlled by a couple of kids just by chance. But, I wasn’t a fan of the excessive gore (I’m usually not in movies), and the ending did feel like it wore thin, like it was running out of gags.
