I really liked the personality of Petey. They didn’t fall into the trap of playing ‘My dad was never around, I’m so traumatized!’ They made him actually want to connect with his dad.

I was nodding off a lot. Maybe bring it just a little higher would make it a 9. [James: ‘If you high, we fly!’] It did have a lot of great references to other movies. I’m sure you could watch it several times and not find them all.

This was bad, but fun bad. The bowling ball brought us full circle. It was a little lazy on some of the early deaths. They set the standard high right away, then dialed it back. But, after that they kept pushing it, which is what you want from this kind of movie.
